Bare bottom tank and detritus

I have a 50 gallon tank. I have three large rocks that I built myself. They range from 20-30 lbs each. These rocks are tall and are fairly close together. I have a bare bottom tank. I also have a protein skimmer, a 20 gallon sump and filter sock. I change the filter sock daily. To keep the detritus down, I blow off the rocks everyday with a pump (I had a spare pump. I use to use a powerhead) . I get a lot of detritus on the rocks in the cracks and crevices and on the floor of the tank. Is there any downside to using a pump or powerhead to blow the detritus off the rocks and bottom of the tank every day. I have mushrooms, candy cane, leather, a lobo, a ducan and a few other corals,
Thanks!

Downside is stirring up too much at one time that you can't vac up fast enough. You don't really want all that mess floating around all over your coral do you?
