Bare Spots on Stylo

emerald crab is a potential, not necessarily the cause. I have seen mine scrape away at coral flesh, but never hermits.

Thanks. I do not have emeralds, just hermits.

I guess it might be water quality. For awhile I have been in the process of changing salts and I was mixing two salts in varying proportions so maybe I have been creating too much change. I am now using just one salt so i hope this will make things more stable.

I have a green stylo with the same thing. It's on the under side with very little light, still growing pretty fast so I never took it as a problem.

I have stylos, and where they don't get light they still have polyps, they're just white polyps.
