Barnacles on SPS

i have one coral with barnacles on it and it doesn't seem to affect it at all. if you really want to get rid of it you probably just have to break it off and try not to do any serious damage to the coral, i just left mine there

Thanks for your input gregm5

But it is almost all over it. The SPS I have is deep purple color. It will look much better with out them. I don't mine the shell ( fix plates) stay on the SPS because they are also purple in color. I just want the legs go away. Hehe

I have a plating coral that has alot of them, they eventually get covered with tissue, but the mouth of it stays uncovered. The coral that I have that has them is wild and it came that way, they dont seem to bother the coral/it grows very quickly, so I let it be. When I first got it I wanted it "perfect", now I dont care. I would just let it be unless you can get them off easily without damaging the acro.

I havent seen them spread. Do you have any pictures? Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing.
