Barrel Sponge Frags?

Anyone have any of these? I think some people picked them up at one of the frag swaps.

Yeah, I saw that. I think some people from the club may have bought some from him. I am wondering how they would do in a reef. I don't feed phyto or anything. I wonder if they would survive?

I think current C-Sea pres Kevin (itZme) also kept some in his reef tank.

It did well in my tank. Slow grower as I don't feed phyto or anything like that.

I was wondering the same thing about those sponges. They're neat looking, but I haven't done any research on them, so I was hesitant on requesting it.

SmmScott's sponge was happy and healthy until I accidentally killed it. It was fine in my nano, I didn't feed it or really dose much of anything, but when I moved all of my frags from that tank to my softie tank, I didn't acclimate it correctly (or really at all) and it didn't survive the transfer.

Ray, I know Bill has it in his 75 and it looks great. I am trying it out but I feed heavy and use both phyto and that oyster stuff. It should be fine.

attaching it to something is where I have a question...I guess you pile rocks on a part of it.
