Base Rock curing

Picked up some base rock, key largo limestone that I plan to powerwash first. Then not sure what to do with, either soak in RO for a few days or just put it in a trashcan with saltwater for a week or 2..what you guys recommend? The rock looks fairly clean, don't think it will require much curing time or cause much of a cycle.

Oh and btw this rock will go into an already established tank, not starting a new one with this rock.

IMO I'd. Put it in a trash can for about 2 weeks maybe 3 with saltwater. The rock might look clean and you might not think there is anything on there but you never know. Better be safe than sorry. Especially going into an established tank. Might have parasites and can wipe out ur tank or reef.

Not worth rushing into. Good luck

I would do the acid wash then rinse good. Then place in a bin with water. Test for phosphates after a week. If they are high. Add lanthanum chloride. Repeat LC until no po4.
