basic clean up crew for a BB 5.5g

hey every1 i have a BB 5.5g with 1x 5lb rock i have 3 snails rite now but i think i need an actual crew b/c i have GHA(green hair algea)

What type of snails you have right now? In a small tank you dont wanna overdo it with cleanup crews, and 3 snails could be perfect depending on what type. They take a while tho, and each one eats different stuff.

i have 3 astrea snails and 1 scarlet reef (i forgot the hermit)

If anything, i'd get one or 2 cerith snails. I just added 3 to a 3g jbj picotope w/3 pounds of rock. They killed all the diatoms in about...2 days. One of them munched down a ton of hair algae, but he left one patch, so it looks weird

i have 3 hermit crab and 2 tubo snail and it seem to do good for me.but i am going to get a cleaner shrimp soon.my tank size is about 6-7 gallon

I don't know if I'd get a mexican turbo for a tank that small. They are voracious eaters. You may not have enough food for it in the long run. I'd suggest 2 regular turbos. In my 2.5, I have 1 turbo in the tank and 1 in the fuge and they keep everything perfectly in check

ceriths are by far best at detritus, and i would not get a turbo snail for a 5 gallon tank. I personally will never get another turbo again, but thats just my personal opinion of them after having 5 of them knock over every rock and coral in my tank and that was a 55 Not to mention they suck at cleaning imo compared to the ceriths.
