Basic Refugium Question

I'm pretty solid on how to build and pipe up a sump to my tank (found some great treads on that), but not really sure how to integrate a separate refugium.

Anyone have any diagrams handy? I'm assuming it goes after the sump and before the tank. I have tons of room behind my in-wall tank, so I have a lot of flexibility from that standpoint.

Can I just let the sump overflow to the refugium, or do I need more flow than that?

I did mine above and behind my tank. Powerhead to the fuge siphon/overflow back Works great.

A refugium can be plumbed just the same way as a sump, if you want. You could also have the tank overflow into the refugium, and then have the refugium overflow into the sump. I think I'm going to end up pumping water out of the sump into the refugium and then have that overflow back into the sump. So whatever fits your space can probably be made to work.
