Baterial infection sucess

I have a borbonius anthias that had a bacterial infection. I treated with melafix and topical iodine applications. It has been 2 months now and it seems like it has healed. However there is still a mark/scar where the infection was. I am assuming that this is just a scar and no longer a bacterial infection.

My question is if I should put the borb back in the DT or wait untill I can no longer see the scar? Will it go away? It looks all healed but I can still kind of tell where the infection was.

I am more or less trying to figure out if it has healed fully if there is no more open wound but a mark or scar.

My guess is after 2 months it should be safe. Bacteria is always there, but a cut/abrasion g gives it a way in.
