It's easy to use. Put tank water in a container then pour the complete in till milky white. Stir then drop corals in and let sit for 15-60 min and then take them out and rinse a couple times with fresh saltwater and toss them in the tank. Then use water in container to kill bugs outside

I've only used Bayer with SPS and this is what I do:

1) Remove SPS from original plug if possible
2) Drip acclimate SPS for 30-45 minutes
3) Dip in 10ml Bayer per cup of water (4oz) for 10 minutes
4) At 5-minute and 10min time, I use a turkey baster to give the SPS a few blasts to knock off any pests
5) Rinse the SPS in clean tank water (twice to be sure) and inspect for any pest, algae, or eggs
6) Glue the SPS in new frag plug or live rock

I've dipped all of my SPS in my current frag tank and have lost none so far. Don't be surprised if you see crazy polyp extensions during the bayer dip! My acros seem to love this dip :)

All of these guys went through this process and did not lose color:

RR Pink Floyd
JF Fox Flame
SC Orange Passion
ASD Rainbow Milli
Garf Purple Bonsai
Paletta Pink tip
CC Retina Blaster Suharsoni
PC Rainbow
RMF Acid Trip Milli
Blue Monster
ORA Red Planet
ORA Oregon Tort
ORA Pearlberry
ORA Hawkins Echinata
ORA Cali Blue Tort
Tyree Pink Lemonade
Tyre Red Dragon
BC Sky Doppel
BC Hyperberry Shortcake

I've used it for a few years with no ill effects. One of the ingredients is harmful to fish, but not sure if we reach those concentrations with the rinsing after the dip.

use it all the time love it. Much more benign than conventional dips. Coral show PE right away vs other dips. I't will kill some inverts, specially shrimps if not rinse well.

Concentration is so minute that unless you drop an 8 ounce bottle in a 200 gal tank....

This stuff works great, I use about 15ML per cup of water on all sorts of corals and haven't seen any ill effects, I've used up to 20ML with no ill effects. Just be sure to rinse well in clean tank water after the dip so you don't get any of it in your tank. I usually rinse twice in clean tank water after dipping

Guys, there are FOR SURE AT LEAST TWO VERSIONS of this dip. If youre going to recommend a dosage, PLEASE, provide which strength version youre using or else you could cause someone hundreds of dollars in corals Both by overdosing or underdosing, depending on which version.

You do not want to use the version that's an insect killer and fertilizer all in one, that's for sure. I ran out as I used the last I had to actually spray my grass for grubs, but here's some links where they have pictures of the bottle. I've used it on Zoas and hard corals and they've shown no ill effects. I haven't tried it on any other soft corals.

Is it best to remove the plug due to the dip leaching in it and then releasing it into the tank? Or will that low amount have no effects? I normally use coral rx but bought this to try. Thanks

I remove the plug before dipping and then gluing frag on new plug after rinsing
