So i recently plumbed a bare bottom frag tank into my main tank, it is about 12 gallons and has one small springer damsel in it. I'am looking for suggestions on a clean up crew to eat any left over food and detritus that builds up.

Other than a few snails for algae growth, I think manual labor is probably your best bet. Siphon that stuff out.

+1. I've got a BB frag tank myself and had a major diatom outbreak about 4 months after the tank was set up. I pulled out all of the egg crate frag racks and siphoned out the entire bottom of the tank. It's been a few months now and I haven't noticed a hint of diatoms, hair algae, etc.. My tank is about 120g and my only CUC is a yellow tang. He, and one blue chromis are the only fish in the tank. No snails, crabs or anything. Just the 2 fish.

One of the perks of a BB tank is easy clean up.
