BBQ Frag Auction 4/13 @ 2pm

Try "underwater" white balance setting on your camera. It works great on mine.

I'd enjoy chatting with you about your LED build. I did mine (squeezed in 30x5W LEDs into a stock Biocube hood) and had lots of fun doing it. Too bad, I can't run it at more than half power.

If you don't have temperature and fan failure interlocks on your LEDs, then I'd highly recommend them. You must have spent a few Benjamins on LEDs alone, so it makes sense to protect against the inevitable fan failure.
Spent almost 900 on whole kit, but I easily got a more beefed up version of a two-Radion setup, and I get the same customizability. Thanks for the camera tip, I didn't even know it had an underwater mode.

I have a Reef Angel PWM controller for my LED's, and a temperature probe hooked to one of the heatsinks. they never fall out of range. But if they did, my lights would turn off :D After 6 months of daily water top-offs (I was using R.O. water from my Hemodialysis clinic's water room), I got really tired of the daily grind of lugging 5 gallon jugs back and forth from work. I was going to get a home R.O./D.I, and an A.T.O., but I decided to splurge on the reef angel. Best purchase ever. My whole tank is awesomely automated, except for dosing calcium and alk. Also, didn't know anything about coding before I tackled the project. Learned how to assemble my code in only a month or so.

I told my wife about the frag swap, and she really wants to go, but she won't go without me, and I can't get out of obligations. I'll definitely need to catch the next one though.
