I use spirulina powder and algamac 3050 in about 5 to 1 proportions, mixed for a minimum of two minutes in a blender, stored in the fridge in a pop bottle and added sparingly to the enrichment container. When it is close to being clear, I add more.
After getting used to how much to add, I now just have to add 12 hours later when I do a complete water change with new enrichment and let go for a second 12 hours.
I see no need for the phytoplankton addition, as the above works just fine for me for the dwarfs.
When raising reidi fry though, I prefer to have Dan's Feed from seahorsesource.com because of all the other additions to the mix.
Again, I mix it in a blender for a minimum of two minutes.
