Be careful with the tap water!

My 125 barebotom koi tank just completely crashed with a 75% water change. Tested the tap. Ammonia is at 4 ppm. If your not using Rodi test test test!

Don't u treat fresh water before use? I don't care for fresh water stuff so not sure

Yes I keep both fresh tanks and FOWLR salt tanks. I treat them both before using tap water. I just got off the phone with south hillsboroughs water manager and apparently their Chloromine doser has been malfunctioning. Even if you use an rodi system is be careful.

Its been "malfunctioning" means it broke eight months ago... Sorry to hear about your tank.

Amquel won't touch that until you're near triple dose. I've seen 3ppm in New Tampa and 5ppm in N Tampa in past years when I serviced FW. I always double dosed as precaution.
