Hey guys and gals I have a thread going elsewhere with my build but I thought I would share here as well.

I have to thank my buddies Nick, Shawn, Kyle, Steve, Tom, Damian, Kenny, & Marco for all the advice thus far I can't take the credit.

Oh and Dave for coming to our SCRK meeting and inspired me to try something new.

Anyways here we go. I am still a couple weeks out from putting this together but I did place my first order today. I plan to remove 2 lamps from an Aquatic Life 6 lamp T5 fixture... resulting in 4x 54w T5 lamps and 60 x 3w leds in the center. I'll control this with my APEX.

Here is a diagram showing the layout I am going with, however the outer two reds will actually be Cool Blues so note that.

I'm going to replace 2 reds with 2 Cool Blues (the 2 on the edge of the diagram) per your guys' advice.

Parts List.

LEDS
Philips Luxeon ES
Royal Blue x 30
True Cool Blue x 10
Neutral White x 6
Cyan x 4
Deep Red x 2

True Violet x 8

Drivers

4 x Meanwell ELN 60-48D. 2 for RB (30), 1 for Blue (10), and 1 for White (6) & Cyan (4) ***Is this OK, running the White (3.0v @ 1000mah) & Cyan (2.9v @ 1000mah) ... can I run these together?

1 x MeanWell LPC-60-1050 for Violet (8) & Red (2)

****Is this OK? Violets run at 3.5v @ 700mah & Reds run at 2.0v @ 700mah so I can run these together correct?

Optics- Not sure how many I need so thought I'd get a few extra.

30 degree x 10
90 degree x 10

Heatsink

Getting something made if not I'll just use C channel.

I got my order today and ordered Friday, very nice order I am pleased I went with Steve's LEDs.

I also got 2 heat sinks and 2 dimmable drivers off Ebay today for $35 shipped.

My buddy Mike is gonna send me 1 dimmable driver.

So thus far I'm in this $375. I still need 2 more dimmable driver's if anyone has any? ELN 60-48D please.

Looks like you went with a full spectrum LED configuration, what T5 are you planning to run? Mine is NW/RB/HV LED and going to supplement the missing spectrum w/ T5s

I'm gonna go with 3 x Blue and 1 x Coral Plus, and get a Purple Plus to play around with the color a bit to see what I like best.

A pal recommended the first configuration for more towards a 20k look. Replacing a blue for either a coral plus or purple plus for more towards a 14k look if I remember him right.
