Beckett Skimmer

Is there a way to make a beckett skimmer make less noise. Damn, it seems like there someone next to me slurping a icee.

A cotton ball can be used at the air intake to quiet it.

There are other designs for air silencers. One was to make a ball out of 2 PVC end caps, and drill both caps, and put air tubing through both ends, and apparently that silenced it? I wonder if it silenced the sound of the air being drawn in, or just silenced the sound of the beckett/venturi on the other end. idk. Good luck finding a solution though!

It should silence the air being sucked in. My skimmer came with a silencer based on that design
