I figured it was time that I started a thread here on Reef Central to showcase Christina's hard work on her 1st Grade classroom tank and the excitement that the kids are showing for the tank.
The tank and stand was donated by Bob from Exotic Fish & Corals in Milford CT, so I wanted to give a quick shout out to Bob and the folks at EFC for the generous donation.
All of the corals in the tank so far have been donated by various reefers. Thanks to the FUPA crew for lots of corals, Mason for Dragon Soul Favia and Culater for the green nepthea!
Quick Equipment List:
AI Prime LED
2 x Koralia 245
Syncra Return Pump 1.0
Aqueon Heater
Tunze Nano ATO
Backup Air Pump
Every week since the tank was setup we add something new to the tank for the kids to enjoy, write about in their journals and to have a Q&A answer session.
Here is the weekly PowerPoint of what's been added to the tank:

Couple of pictures of the tank and the kids checking out some new items.

I will work on getting some more up to date pictures for everyone. I've been in to talk to the kids about what's in the tank twice and it is such a rewarding experience to see the kids so excited and ask so many questions.
