Been awhile.....need advice...

SO....I had a 55 gallon saltwater tank many years ago....had it going well, then, Katrina (I live in the New Orleans area) hit. I was a police officer, and although I didn't get water in my house, our power was out for 21 days, and I was unable to get to my house for 15 of 'em. When I finally did get home, all was lost but a tang, and that perished before we got the power back on. SO, that pretty much killed my morale and I figured I'd give it up for good.
WELL, fast-forward to now and I finally decided to start again with a small 14 gallon Biocube. A friend of mine has had one for quite awhile and its doing great. I am aware I can't put many fish in, and thats totally fine, but I'm wondering what you guys and girls think I could have in it that would do well. Thanks in advance for the help! I used to know enough to get by really well, but its been a long time and I've already been reminded of many tricks and hints from briefly reading the boards here.
Have an epic day!

A pair of clowns, or smaller fish, crab, shrimp ect. But like im sure you have heard. Smaller tanks really restrict you of your options and they are harder to keep parameters in check given the smaller water volume / faster evaporation rate. But many people run them.
