Been looking at light bulbs for down the line:

I'm sure it is dated technology but I have a 4 bulb fixture T5 I was thinking about 2 coral plus and 2 blue + from ATI. I think the coral + is a newer bulb well definatly new to me. I am thinking mixed reef down the line. Maybe some sps up high and I love clams so is that enough for for the clam on the sand bed. I prolly won't have any livestock for a year taking it really slow this time. I am thinking about a 6 month rock and sand only to let the tank establish better any ideas?

I use 2 Blue+, 1 Coral+, and 1 AquaBlue Special. I might change out the AquaBlue for a Purple+ soon.

There are plenty of ways to cycle a tank. 6 months is a really long time maybe six weeks. I'd say stock it slow and the bacteria will keep up with the bio load. Bulbs are to your color preference.

I ran that a while back on my 41 cube. It's a nice cool color. I had mostly acans in that tank. They did fine and grew well.
