I forgot some of the basics, how much rock and sand for a 16 gallon biocube? Also where can i get a faucet adapter for my rodi? Thanks for the help.

A 10 pound bag of sand should be enough. If it looks like it's not enough go back and buy another 5 pound bag. For rock about 15 pounds is good, you should be able to fit 4 or 5 small rocks in there to create some caves and spots for coral. Position the rock first and then add the sand around it to make the rock work more stable

Good Pukani is really light, 5lbs might be too much - but some of heavier stuff is almost like driveway gravel, 10lbs might not be enough. I'd just buy rock you like off a hobbyist and go by what looks good - water changes are your filtration in a tank that small.

Tell anyone at Lowes or Home Depot it is for a fish tank, they will say they don't have it and send you to a pet store. A pet store will say they don't have it and send you to a hardware store. Pet stores at least know what they sell, you can probably find it in plumbing at the hardware store.
