Before and After red bugs

I feel great about this one. In December I noticed my purple sps (name escapes me) was covered in red bugs. I pulled the rock it was on, and did a coral dip, but to my mistake, I did it in RODI and not SW. Because of of this it's polyps disappeared for a week and it turned bone white. Weekly water changes and frankly leaving it alone, I feel it has made quite the recovery. Color is back and pretty decent growth from what I can tell. Should look great in my new 50 cube once cycle is done and ready for corals.

Thanks, I'm excited to get them in my new 50, but It's only been cycling about 2 weeks now. I will start to move my fish over soon as my cycle is getting close to completion, I seeded the crap out of it with my current tank. but plan to keep my biocube up as a staging home for my corals for a couple of months until my new tank is really ready to go. I want there to be as little pain in transition as possible.

looks great I had to do this with my red planet colony which was encrusted on a rock which sucked because I had to break it off the rock to dip.. but I use Bayer for this and it works great. in fact I dip all new corals in Bayer now before they enter the tank. It kills everything! and doesn't harm the corals one bit.. but does anyone have an ID on the OP's coral? I just got one of these myself and it didn't come with a name.
