I had to tear down my 90G tank because it started to 'crash' after 3 years. Had it overpacked with rock and SPS coral and I couldn't get the detritus out. I did manage to save a lot of the coral though. I will post a pic of what is left later as well as the stand I built, thanks to other threads in here.
But I need something identified first because I do not want to transfer this unknown calcerous material to the new tank. The two LFS have no idea what this is and had grown all over the rock and lower tank which did not see any daylight
Just for the record, the tank will be a 72x24x24 form John at AO. I would have loved to have gone 30/36 wide but it came down to space and electric bill.
There is one question I do have for the lighting. I plan on going with 3 Lumen bright 250/400 DE pendants. The dimensions are 16x16 octagons (or whatever they are called) which with eurobracing leaves me no room to run actinics lengthwise. Can I run 4 24inch Tek reflectors from fron to back on the ends and in between the MHs?
