Before you get an Anenome.

How old are your fish, and how bonded are they?

I made a mistake and one of my fish almost died. Ihad to give the other to the lfs.

I had a pair of young Clarki Clownfish. They had established dominance and all was going well. Though both still young, the female had grown twice as large as the male. Also his fits of submission had died out. They slept together everyday for 3months.I brought home a Sebae Anenome for them to host, wich they did and all was well.

Three days later she kicked him out and he had to hide and stay out of site or she would chase him. I asked around and everyone said he has to get her back or they are done, so i let it be. She did not take him back and now about 9 days later she tried to off him for real.

I had to remove her and give her away. I added the nem to soon. This was my ignorance.

The male is doing great and that at least is good. lil guy cant belive she is gone, I swear he is smileing now, but he almost died.

This is about 10 days ago.

the anemone is kinda small and they are just too close in size...
with clownfish in captivity size difference is more important than in the wild.
