Hello,

I am brand new to the hobby and looking for feedback on my aquascaping layout. I want it to be good before I start adding fish. Let me know what you think.

I like to minimize contact with the sand when I aquascape to avoid trapping gas and nitrates under the live rock. Also, best practice is to have your rock touch as little as possible and still be stable enough that your powerheads don't knock it over. I don't use adhesives in any of my tanks, but there are now a lot of good choices in the way of reef safe adhesives for sticking pieces together in more intricate designs. It takes a lot of planning and trial and error to aquascape a tank just right so it meets all your needs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYiE9AzeNuU just one example.
