Beginner with my 2nd new tank

My husband decided to help me with a new glass tank and used acetone on the inside to remove some sticky glue. I have read only use water or deluded vinegar. Will this harm my fish even if I rinse really good?

It should be safe as long as all the residue was cleaned up correctly.

Just be aware, with additional research, it appears the acetone can assist with dissolving/removal of silicone so I’d ensure it didn’t hit the joints
