I am starting to break down my tanks. I have a couple of bigger items I will be selling.

1. Neptune AC3 with backlight, DC8, Temp probe, PH probe, ORP probe, Ozone generator, IM513 X-10 interface and four x-10 Appliance Modules. (retail = $838) Sell entire kit for $550.

2. Neptune PX1000 with Temp and PH probes still in the boxes. I bought this to expand my system and never got to install it. I still have the receipt from Salty Critter where it sells for $170.95 + $44.95. I even have the PH calibration fluid I bought for the setup. Sell for $190 complete.

3. LifeGard QL-80, 80 watt UV filter with AF-93, mechanical filter chamber and large AF-900, mechanical filter chamber (all of these are connected inline)
I used 1 lb of carbon in the large chamber and half a canister of Phosban in the smaller chamber. I will also include 4 lbs of carbon and 2 lbs of GFO $325. I also have 2 additional QL-40s if you wanted to go with 160 watts of sterilizer for another $150 or I could sell the additional UV filters at $90 each if someone wants a single 40 watt UV filter.

4. Big DIY protein skimmer modeled after Euro-Reef 1000. 11" x 48" recirculating skimmer. It has two meshmodded Sedra 9000 pumps recirc'd with drain in collection cup, air intakes in collection cup so air shuts off if cup is full and an airflow meter on each intake tube to allow for tuning of the air valves. It has a gate valve to adjust water in the reaction chamber. Sell with brand new Catalina feed pump for $950.

5. Tunze 6212 wavebox with controller and 2 mounting magnets.

Retail $564. . In perfect condition and currently covered in coralline algae so it blends in and has some really nice pink palythoas growing on the front. (about 20 polyps) It's currently working very well in my 92g corner tank. Polyp extension is amazing!
Sell for $425

I will be listing all of this stuff for sale in the main selling forums too and shipping is available at buyer's expense on the smaller items. I would not want to ship the skimmer. I will get pics of the stuff up ASAP with links. In the meantime you can just google the part numbers. Most items are available at MarineDepot.com.

No just hitting the reset button so to speak. I plan on keeping a FOWLR with clams and maybe a small mixed reef for my faves (fox coral, orange plate, big purple gorgonian, chalice, all the aussie acans, elegance etc...)

Sounds like I will be an LPS reefer.

are you selling that 100g rubbermaid tub in the teardown?

I think that's where all my stuff will live between when I sell my current setup and the new one. I am not sure if I will be using it after I get a new tank or not. I think I saw one for sale here for $50 last week. Maybe it was the CORA forums.

I don't have any moonlights to get rid of. I didn't know where I said that about dibs either but I probably got cranky about it before and I don't doubt that I said it at some point. LOL

You should change your lighting schedule to be like mine chuggy. The fish don't know what is day and what is night unless you tell them (with lighting)

I set mine up to come on at 2pm and off at 1am so I get some viewing time after I get home and I can work on things before lights out.
