So I have a bangaii cardinal and I just looked and turned to it and it had what I thought were eggs in its mouth. The dropped to the sand bed where I took a photo of it. I wasn't sure they were eggs until I did some research and it looks exactly like it. But here's the thing. I only have 1. I used to have 2 cardinals when I got them back in February, but one grew quite large and started harassing the other til death maybe a month ago, so I assume they were the same sex.
Long story short, how does this happen? I'm utterly confused. Here's a photo of the eggs on the sand bed. It's a terrible photo but I grabbed it real quick and they're now swept underneath my hammer corals tentacles.
