Some here may not know but Berghias are a type of nudibranch (sea slug) that is unsurpassed at consuming all manner of aptasia anenome pests.

They will eat Aptasia??? Large and small? I would love about 20 of them...lol. Seriously though, I would take about 5 to 10 if you are coming to Jerry's (I am on the way in Vestal).

I would like 1 but I don't have any aptasia at the moment. My peppermint shrimp are doing a good job at controlling them.

I had it really bad when I got the tank. The guy that had it thought it was great that he getting growth... but didn't know what they were. Lemon juice and peppermint shrimp did wonders!

Not sure if you and others know it or not... but they only have a 6 to 8 month life span.

yeah i realize that i have done alot of research lately. just hoping to help some ppl get rid of their aiptasia! when i first started in the hobby i didnt even know anyone local that had an aiptasia and now all of the sudden everyone does...

I have 5 peppermints in my tank now and not an aptasia to be seen. Now if I can just do something about my GHA. My Nasser's and blenny aren't touching it.

grab some mexican turbos they have always taken care of hair algae for me. i just toss like 4 or 5 in and let them take care of business

I never had a problem in the past...but they are running wild now. I tried peppermints, but my trigger thought it was a snack I believe because I never saw it after day one.
