Best 250 MH ballast

I was just wondering what the most effiecent MH ballast is?

I have PFO and they pull 8 amps each.
Anyone have any numbers on different types?

You have some serious issues if your PFO 250w ballast is pulling 8 amps at 110v. That is 960 watts of power. Are you sure they are 250w ballasts, and not maybe 1000w ballasts?

NO JOKE!!!!! yeah, something's not right. my old magnetic 250's pulled about 2.7A each. electronics pulled 2.2A each.
