IDK why you would wanna do this but i think a mantis would win the inverts.

Are you Talkin bout the ocean? If so for an invert I would say a giant octopus. For fish I would say barracuda?

keeping in mind that we have only seen about 10% of the world oceans, there MUST be some REALLY ....... animals down there ...

i would say a porcupine puffer would win. the puffer can extend his spines and increase his size 300% and has a toxin that will kill a human with only a drop. may people in china and japan die from this toxin every year.
