Best alk test kit?

I can no longer find any instant ocean alk test kits anywhere online and so now i guess i have to use another brand

Anyone have any good reccomendations, i like test with noticealbe color changes and test that are easy to perform are best

I'd say Elos or Salifert. I use Salifert for some reason and have never used Elos but hear great things about their test kits.

Where do you get the salifert dKh kit? All I can seem to find is the Kh one.

looks like i'll be trying out Elo's i use Elo's for everything else just was used to being able to buy a 8 dollar alk kit like instant ocean and now i can't find anyone who carrie's them anymore, it sucks

kh is Dkh...just a different calculation

with the istant ocean you took the color change # of drops and divided that by 2, and then multiplied that by 2.8 to get the DKH all test kits are different though

For the money I do like the API alkalinity test kits. They aren't the most accurate, but they seem accurate enough. I've been using them for the last 2 years switching from Salifert.

Tropic Marin has a color change from Green to Orange - I have yet to have a measurement that isn't anything but clear as day. They usually run around $10 or less.
