Go to nano tunners. They customize and their prices range $250 - 600 depending on equipment. It will give you some good ideas. It seems that people always mod their all in ones such as adding a second PH and the only skimmers that fit are POS. Maybe you could do a smaller tank and sump.
Any idea on how much you want to spend? Size other than >12g?
I like this one. Similar to the others and maybe the same as the one Angela posted. FWIW I am very happy with 4 24 watt T5's over my 29. I'm getting better color out of some of my SPS that are in there than I did under halides in my big tank. Seem to do great for zoas and LPS too. http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merc...=PROD&Product_Code=FI-MTG-2402&Category_Code=
IMO you're better just going with a smaller tank and a sump... I have a 24g Aquapod and a 15g BioCube... I like the Aquapod better because I have a 150w Sunpod over it... The only skimmer that will fit is a Remora pro, wich sucks... The BioCube is worthless... I can only keep a few palys/zoas and a frogspawn in it... It has 2x24w PC's and no space for a skimmer with the hood on... Just go with a smaller RR tank... You'll save money and you'll be happier with it...
Checking out the prices of those things I would almost have to agree! Or just do weekley water changes in a regular tank with no skimmer and just a HOB and small PH. Or Even a wave timmer to add some kick with some MJ's. My old 5 is still kickin it with hardley no water changes at my freinds house and my other freind with the old 29's tank looks awsome with just a HOB 2 PH's and bi-weekly water changes. Petco is having $1 a gallon sale someone posted. Depending on what size you are thinking I like the shape of my 20 tall. A 29 is a nice cool size for a few fish and cheap but I really like the 40 cubeish sizes but they are not so cheap. I had a section of glass cut for a top locally real cheap also. Get a cheap T-5 or PC/VHO set up and you are good to go. Good luck setting up your new little tank. Evil mel with out her own zoas is just wrong!
