Best anemone on a sps system ??

We missed you Todd :)

as I said, I havent found any that state there is a max size. was hoping you could point me to the direction where you got the max size from :) so I too can learn

from some pictures of wild anemones, I see some as large as the divers ! will try to find those pics and post them here :)

Several searches will show a max size for E. quadricolor being approximately 400 mm.
H. magnifica being approximately 1 meter.
H. mula being 200 mm.

Thanks guys .. keep your thoughts comming.

I think i`m going to go with the Crispa option, allready had one on the past. Will see ... I know haddoni o gig are for advanced aquarists, and are difficult to mantain.

Todd ... have you ever seen a Rock Flower Anemone or even maxi mini hosting perculas or ocellaris ??

If you go with the crispa, make sure to PASS on any white ones -- bleached --or yellow ones -- dyed.

No, I have never seen a perc or ocellaris in either of those anemones. But, I have had a pair of percs hosted by an S. haddoni.

Thanks for the tip Todd. Will try to make an island and put the Crispa on there. Let`s just hope it stays and most important that my percs host in it.

Sure thing.

Crispas can be odd --- once in a while you will get one that will stay on/in the sandbed -- the one that I had about 15 years ago did that.

Keep in mind that the perspective of the shot will affect how large the anemone appears in relation to the diver. Most of those pictures will be set up to emphasize the anemone (also usually in the foreground), hence the oversized appearance.
