While I would just wait for the natural cycle to take place, if you do want to speed a cycle along I would go with Dr. Tim's one and only. I'm not sure how ich plays into the need for bacteria, could you clarify your question?
I know some raw shrimp or Dr. Tims for the initial cycle. When their tank went fallow for 72 days, there was nothing in there to feed the bacteria. I know some who use Stability try and keep up the bacteria once fish are added back in trying to prevent a mini-cycle.

I lost two fish to ich, and about to get the others out (if I can) into a hospital tank and let my tank go fallow. Using UV in the sump, formalin, and after going fallow and heavy water changes I'm sure to have some bacteria die-off. So I'm just wanting to ensure I keep the microbes happy or kick them off anew until fish return. This is my first SW tank, and wasn't happy to get ich 10 weeks in. But I want to do what I can to get it spun up right for the next phase.
