I have a 250 gallon drilled AGA that I am setting up. There is a closed loop that occupies three of the bulkheads and a return that occupies two. I will be setting up a mixed reef. I want to set up circulation that is somewhat natural and one that does more than just blow water from the bottom up which is how the plumbing is now set up. I have heard something about the DART. I am looking for a timer or system that will allow me to direct flow in and around the bottom of the tank (about 6 inches from the sand bed and then on up) and in and around the aquascaping. This seems like the best way to prevent dead spots. So, what is out there? Any input would be much appreciated.
