Best clam to start with?

Hello all. I have a 24g AP with 150w MH. The tank has been running for 8 months. I've never had a clam before, but I've decided I wanna give one a go. My question is which kind should I get? I've been doin some research, but was wondering what you all think.

i am on my first clam and it's a crocea, which is doing wonderful. it will max out at 6'' which is perfect for my 20g.

i would start with a Derasa or Squamosa

I agree with Mbbuna, a deresa or squamosa would be the best choice for trying clams. But with your tank size they would outgrow it. Could also try a crocea, they are smaller but are more demanding on lighting.
