what do you consider a nano? some say under 10 gallons others say under 40 . . . . if you are talking a 40 gallon nano than almost any clown would work. if you're looking at a 2.5 than no clown would work . . . . .
i personally think a nano is a great place to start- yes they are much less forging and do require more attention and yes things can go bad very quickly. they are often more expensive per gallon than larger aquariums but are less expensive long term. my first tank was a 7 gallon and it lasted 3 years before growing into a 40. i guess it all depends on you level on commitment.
