Just to toss things up here on the STRS board, thought a poll would be fun! Whats your oppinion on CUC?

Snails only, Hermit only, with or without shrimp, choose everything you would have in your ideal CUC!!

It is kind of neat to see what people use in their tank! May have to share this link on the public page, see if we can get more votes. Would be neat, since most pages about CUC are oppinionated and argumental, this will just show a nice statistic

Ugh I know! I have a good thousand of those silly starfish and they are always covering up my display glass hahaha

It took me several years to learn to stay away from hermits. Bummer too because I find them somewhat entertaining, but I've had more trouble than they're worth from hermits. I now stick to proven peaceful critters like urchins, a variety of snails, and cleaner shrimp.

I am a snail guy myself. I base most of my CUC on them. I stoped using Hermits after i saw one demolish a clam. However my favorite is a cleaner. Love how they grow to know you and clean your hands/arms, or even hand feed them!

BTW thanks everyone for voting!!! I'm going to try to add more polls every so often to keep the club a little more active/break up some of the monotony of the usuall. I always find polls fun to take.
