Well I wanna disinfect the tools (net, tubing, plastic pails) that I used in my DT when my sick tang was in there. I think he had velvet disease or something.
I took the net to fish him out and did a few water changes in the last few days with multiple tools now I'm paranoid about re-using those. :lmao:
Is Javel (bleach) and boiled water effective to kill the parasites? To what extreme can they survive outside without water? I wanna clean up all my tools.
A while ago when I got my Chaeto ball, I had plunged it into RODI water thinking I was gonna kill off everything from it and start fresh. Well I was wrong a small tiny snail survived the dip and hes still running and grazing in my fuge atm. :lmao: I can't imagine how resistant now a parasite must be. I was checking Mr. Saltwatertank on youtube and he had to virtually bleach out everything when one of his tank crashed to velvet. :headwallblue:
