Best fish for a 75 gallon

Just wondering on some of the best fish to put in a 75 gallon?
I like shape and color when I take fish into consideration.
What are your opinions?

Is it going to be a reef or fish only tank?

That is a key point. Now if it is a reef I'd suggest varioius types of fairy/flasher wrasses would fit perfectly in a 75. They're for the most part peaceful, personable, and beautiful fish. Also if you feel up to the challenge, leopard wrasses, which are by far my favorite. Yet you may want to wait till the tank is a bit more established first.

Oh sorry guys forgot to specify!
Def a reef tank, I don't want an aggressive tank.
Thanks!!

Ya I really like the blue and brown tangs a lot too what is your perspective on them?

We have a McCosker's Wrasse in our 65g. Very beautiful fish. I also like Flame Hawkfish, however they will eat shrimp.

This kind of thread is pretty useless. Instead of asking such an open question, try to be more specific. What is your experience level? Do you have any favorite fish? What colors and shapes do you like?

No tangs in a 75 is my rule. Some will say a Kole is okay.

You have many fish to choose from for a 75. I recommend reading on here a lot. You don't need to post. Just read, read, read. And get Scott Michaels Reef Fishes book pronto. I believe it has 500 fish listed and described.

Good luck.

All the fish in my signature are appropriate for a 75 but some are very challenging to keep fed.

Some ideas for you...
Yellow coris wrasse
Flasher wrasses
Royal gramma
Pretty much any goby except sand sifters
One blenny
Pair of captive bred ocellaris clowns
Firefish (one or a known m/f pair)
Cardinals (pretty much any kind. Double check if the species you choose can exist in groups.)

How many times a day will you feed? What do you plan to feed?

clowns ? 6 line wrass tho that seems to be my answer to every thing add a 6 line lol .

AGREED! Get the Scott Michael reef fish book. When I was starting to get into this hobby I picked this book up, and read it through and through many times... Its knowledge was pretty much invaluable.

6 lines are beautiful and useful fish but almost no one recommends them because of their aggressiveness.
