I feed a bunch of foods but the main food that he gets a couple times a day is new life spectrum marine pellets. I have only ever heard positives about the food
i have not had my kole tang long but he is finally getting comfortable enough to come out at feeding where he seems to love spectrum brine plus algae, as well as my formula one flakes. i hope to see him eating nori soon enough tho..
In my experiance Tangs are not picky eaters. They will eagerly eat anything and everthing you put in the tank. Just be sure that you give it a good variety of algae as they are herbivores. I feed a quarter sheet a day and rotate between green, red, purple and brown. Green twice as much as the others. My Sailfin and Bristle tooth are both happy and healthy.
My newly acquired Kole Tang (currently in QT) eats everything I have put into the tank so far - mysis, Emerald Entree, NLS pellets, Omega Marine Flakes and nori. Only thing I haven't tried yet is Rod's Food, and I'm sure he'll eat that as well. He's a pig.
