best food for purple bubble tip

I held out as long as I could, my tank's been a fowlr for over a year, reef for 2 months.

I went to the LFS last thursday to pickup some salt. There it was, still in the bag. one of the coolest nems I've ever seen

neon green, with little purple tips. He is doing GREAT so far.

I fed him a little chunk of mysis/brine, and he devoured it in seconds. twice in the last 5 days. I want to pick up some more food for it today, should I get frozen shrimp? any help is appreciated!

squid, clam, mysis, silverside, krill or cocktail shrimp.

those are usually excepted readily be anemones. the silverside and bigger shrimp will need cut into small pieces for the nem.

i agree with matt on this one you can.

best way to tell if you are or are not is if the waste looks like the item they had eaten then its to much for them to digest, give them less the next time you feed.

All right, all right lol. It's probably not THAT great to you guys, the pics don't do it much justice, but here you go

I was worried it wouldn't find a good spot, my rockwork is a little different

A blurry pic my gf took yesterday, looks so much cooler in person

Anyway, it looks good, pretty much hung around that cave since I put him in there. goes in at night, at comes out all day.

wow, I love your aquascaping! it looks really good. are those mostly tonga branches? I noticed you don't have any other corals ... are you planning to make it BTA-only?

let's see, I got: some green candy canes (by the YWG), some green zoos, orange zoos, some buttons, and some green mushrooms. just hard to see in that pic.
Thanks for the comment on the scaping, I thought I was the only one that liked it haha. Its mostly "Sumatra" from Kalypso aquatics in lodi. Elliot hooks me up

With all of those caves, you've got nice places for future bta's. If it splits or if you buy more (If you buy more always tell the wife it split). Anyway, mine love to anchor their foot in the shade and poke their head of holes, so your rock work is perfect.

sweet! thanks. My GF won't mind, she's hooked worse than me! lol

I'll make sure this one stays healthy for a few months before I get another one. Now I'm just hoping my clowns get in there. They should love it if they figure it out

This is my first nem though, and I must say it it one of the coolest things I've ever bought! gonna give him a little piece of squid tonight :)
