Best glass cover for MH lights

I have 20 x 20 lumenarc reflectors and i need to cover them with some glass or acrylic. whats the best covering not to block light and where should i get it? Anyone know where i can get starfire glass pieces cutt to size? will some type of good acrylic do the job?

Just use some 3/16 tempered glass. At that thickness the normal glass will not block out to much light.

Acrylic will work, but it depends on what wattage of bulbs, if your running 400 watters I don't think the acrylic will handle the heat.

I would go w/ tempered glass. I believe there are some "high temp resistant" acrylic out there but depending on what wattage you're using, the heat may be too high.
You can do a google search to find places that can provide the tempered glass.

Any local glass shop should be able to get you the tempered glass.
