Best Goby for my 12 gallon long..

Hey everyone Happy Monday!! :rolleyes: Im just about ordered everything for my 12 gallon long build ( Will start my build thread later ) and have been spending some time on Live stock research and had a question for you all.

What do you think will be Best Goby for the 12 long?

Tank will be a Reef tank few SPS and LPS..nothing crazy at all.

Just wanted to pick all of your knowledge and see what would be Best? or the ones with more personality... Thanks for all your help!
 
I like the Orange Spotted so far but they get kinda biggish... I was thinking maybe a pair of smaller Gobbies but still researching..
 
Green banded goby are pretty cool looking. Another one I think is cool is Yasha goby. And of course, there is the flame goby if you can find one. :)
 
Was looking into a Orange spotted goby and a pistol shrimp relationship. Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or knowledge on that?
 
I like my shark nose goby - looks kind of cool & cleans my other fish. It's always out & about unlike my other gobies that hid until feeding time, then run back under a rock. I have to assume that my hermits or crabs got them - haven't seen them in months.
 
Not sure - probably not. maybe if your tank was bigger, they'd have some elbow room, but it looks like the minimum tank size for 1 is 10 gallons.

Sharknose Goby is like neon goby. You should to buy them as a pair or somehow able to pair them, otherwise they will fight if the tank isn't big enough or enough hiding spaces.
 
Tank's a bit small for an orange-spotted shrimp goby. Ours never paired with the candy cane pistol in the 55, I've seen them paired with tiger pistols, though. We have a yasha/candy cane pistol pair in our 20 long. Most I've seen them stray from the burrow is about 3 inches and they only come out when the powerheads are off. Never been near the top of the tank.
 
I think ive settled on the YWG and Pistol Shrimp pair. Sushigirl well said on tank alittle small for Orange Spotted Goby so I think that pair would be good for the tank and add some extra excitement.
