Best KH for BB SPS tank?

Guys,
I have a 465 gallon BB SPS tank with huge in tank flow of about 45,000 gph peak flow. I have been keeping my KH at about 8.5, but wondered if there is a best range for KH?

I have a masterflex peristaltic feed pump for the GEO 818 calcium reactor, and an aquariumplants.com carbon doser, so I can maintain a very steady KH. Lighting is 4x 400 watt radiums on Hamilton M135 ballasts. Thanks.
