Best LFS to buy live rock

I'm ready to drive anywhere for better prices. Freight gets costly and. Someone also told me about going to Tampa to pick up the rock and not having to ship it.

If you guys want to do a group buy, call my boss, Rob at Exotic Aquatic, he cuts prices according to how much you buy and we have some of the nicest rock around. fiji doesn't have a whole lot of color, but has nice shape, but if you are looking for color we have Blue Ridge rock that is totally covered with plant life and alot of coraline algae, we also have tonga branch, base and hatian rock and also few nice pieces of polyp rock which is covered in zoos. give us a call at 954-565-0947 and we will hook you guys up with some nice stuff. we can you guys un cured rock if you want to cure it in your tank or you can come by and pick out some of our cured rock that we have in house.

we should get a deal somewhere w/o shipping

Now it's time to call Tampa bay saltwater, and have it shipped. That large of an order, and they'll probably hand deliver it.

I think it would be fun to make a group drive there and pick the rocks out we like ourselves

lol.. yea i need nano rock.. so small hunks... not rubble.. but not huge either... i usually buy big rocks and smack them with a hammer...

any luck with this order? i picked up a 20 L at a decent price yesterday... the excited part of me wants to set it up now... the logical part of me says wait until i move in august because if i set it up i have to tear it down... either way just wondering if this is for real or if i should start a search for good rock down here...

anyone have time to take control and make the phone calls ? Say we need 1500-2000 or so pounds

while we are on the topic of rock... is it against the law to take rubble pieces from the beach if i find skeletons i like? i know they can carry parasites but i would boil them to kill everything and then put them in the tank... i just thought of it because last time i was there i found some really cool coral skeleton pieces in between the sandbars and wanted to take them but didnt...

I dont care where we get it as long as its good stuff with lots of coraline.....as far as picking up rocks on the beach i dont think its illegal as technically its not in the water IMO.....id double check local laws though....I snorkel all the time in florida waters, but never harvest rock because anything with coraline or anything growing on it is against the law.....
