Best LFS to tank shop

wheres the best place to go to look for a new tank? do all of the larger cube tanks have to be custom made? anyone know a local place that carries a good selection of cubes or rimless type tanks? im looking for either a 65+cube or something shallow peninsula type. id consider used but its exhausting searching forums for something i like at the right price and local.

Aquarium Village is best.

Most stores can order almost anything and have it delivered within a few days. I think 93g cube is the next standard size up after a 60g cube and not many stores will have such large size sitting around.

If you live anywhere near Rt 112 and Middle Country Rd., you might want to check at Aqua Hut. Some of the best prices I've seen on dry goods and durable goods. Don't know how they compare when ordering in, but when I had to do an emergency replacement 'cause my 150g tank developed a leak about seven years ago I got my replacement there. Sold me a 135 instead of 150, 'cause I could get it for about 40% off the price of a 150. I buy all my frozen foods, dry foods, etc. there.

I'd second Aqua Hut, Don (the owner) now owns the store next to his and uses it to warehouse dry goods and keep tanks, so he can show you what a good variety of tanks look like. Also his prices are better than anyone else on the Island.

thanks guys.. ill talk to don next time im over there. aquarium village is a hike but i do have a gift certificate to use so maybe i should make the journey sometime soon.
