Best Light for my Nuvo 40

starting my first reef tank probably going to go with the nuvo 40, any ideas on a good light?

deciding between AI Prime, kessil 160we, hydra 26(a bit pricey though) or open to any other ideas

The answer will depend on what type of corals you intend to keep.

I don't think the Prime will give you enough spread, but the Hydra 26 would definitely be a good option. I don't have any experience with the Kessil's so I'm not sure if the 160 would give you enough spread either... Maybe either 2 of the 160's or 1 of the 360's would probably work.

Any of those lights will give you enough power to grow any corals you want, you just might not be able to grow on the sides of your tank with the smaller lights.

+1 on the prime not being enough spread .
i have a nuvo 20 at work and one prime is not even enough for that.
you better of getting two tuna blue used will be cheaper then getting the primes . if you get the kessil with gooseneck make sure to get their controller .unles you have a apex or some kind of controller to control the light
