Best lps?

i just got into fish tanks and even more recent reef keeping. didnt really know what i liked at first so i have somewhat of a mixed bag of corals. some zoas leathers lps softies.

i have really been falling in love with my limited lps selection...

so far i have

2 nuclear green trumpets about 6 heads each
1 blue green trumpets about 8 heads
1 open brain. red ring around green center
hammer coral abt 7 heads
2 frogspawn about 7-8 heads each


in your opinion what are the nicer - colorful etc - lps corals that arent super expensive / rare


what should i be looking at adding to the tank?

You can get some pretty nice acans for a fair price. Acans are my favorite. Mummy eye chalices are really affordable now days too.

I personally am a fan of bubble corals, they'll usually range $40 to $70 depending on the size, and are a great unique lps piece. Duncan corals are also very interesting, but they can get pricey.

I love Acans and any type of Euphyllia. Oh and did I say I love Acans :thumbsup:

love the movement of Euphyllias & colors of chalices. Scoly's are beautiful & of course my favorite coral is Plate corals, beautiful colors, & fun to watch it pass food from the outside tentacles into it's mouth.

Acan lords, echinatas, bowerbankis, hillae, etc. I too love acans!
