Best mantis for me?

What is the best mantis i can put in a 20 long. How would i set it up and what would i feed it?

In a 20 long you can get just about any one you want, minus a few. I feed mine silversides

Ok i think i might sell my 46 and set up a 10 gallon with a 10 gallon sump. i want to get some zoos and softys. What mantis should i get? I want to feed it frozen most the time and feed it hermits or a snail once a week.

I like Neogonodactylus wennerae but that other thread with the all red mantis looks SWEET:eek2: :inlove::thumbsup:, any ways i was thinking of seting it up kind of as a fuge and later on have it flow into a sea horse tank then to the sump but for now just to the sump. Im still thinking but what do u guys think?

I received this type (Neogonodactylus wennerae) in some FL live rock I purchased, and I really enjoy him (her?). S/he (still don't know enough about it to sex it) is quite peaceful, hasn't bothered my astrea snails, my fish, or any hermits. I realize it is capable of harming them, but so far it doesn't seem interested. My flame cardinalfish will brazenly steal food from it and the shrimp gives up and retreats quickly. Maybe I just have a wimp?

I offer it a piece of shrimp on a skewer every other day or so, and I also feed it these sm snails that reproduce spontaneously in my other tank. I've read it's good to feed them shelled creatures every now and then if you have access to a good free source.

Im seting up its own tank so i want it to be mean and eat all snails and crabs but thanks for the reply.
