Best Media reactor?

BRS Looks ok, but isn't it just a few water filter bodys with some GFO or GAC?

Geo looks cool but kindy pricey. If it's anything like their CaRx then the quality is good.

You are correct but then again a media reactor doesnt need to be pricey...Its simple, well made, and effective

Two Little Fishes I heard was pretty good and very cheap price...Just a thought! BRS is a water cartridge that you could DIY if you really wanted to...HTH

I really like the NextReef MR1 Media Reactor. It is very well built for $70. I have 2 on my 185. I compared them to the Precision Marine and they were comparable to the Professional line not the regular line. Marine Depot carries them.

coolkidtr-The PMs look good, but have you used one?

96p993-Good point.

gooyferret-I have a few of the TLF ones and I like them a lot, but they just don't hold enuf media. I wish they made a big one.

tcinaustin-"NextReef" something to look in to. Cheep AND well built......interesting.

Thanks
Ed

the warner marine is an in sump model and comes with pump. its pretty nice. I have also heard good things about the nextreef unit.

i have an Sr - 45 reverse flow media reactor on my 600 gallon that I use for GFO. Good quality. No issues .

Dimensions are as follows:
Overall Height: 26”
- Footprint: 5.75”
- Input/Output: 1/2”

Dont complicate things. You can tee off some flow from your system to run the reactor. No need to run extra pumps. Good luck.
